Sklepní prostory restauraceThe oldest record about the existence of the house comes from the 14th century. At the time of the reconstruction of the house, there were some baroque fragments conserved and currently the house finds itself in the pure classicism.

There used to be a St. Prokop's church in the small and narrow street. This church was lately rebuilt into a residential house with the statue of St. Prokop. This house welcomes you in the picturesque part of the Lesser Town.

It had been written in the book "The house-signs" by PhDr. Lydie Petranova:
„The house "At the black horse" in the Prokopská street belong long time ago to the large court with a malt house belonging to the Maltese cloister. It testifies also the Madonna, in the stucco frame, which has the chain above her head and symbolically marks the Maltese side law. The house owned a house-sign already at the end of the 16th century. Here also used to be a bar-room. The high relief of the black horse in the baroque framing is more than a hundred years younger."
